In this video, Chris Tisdell shows how to copy a length of a given line segment AB to another line segment CD. He uses a circle arc template and a straightedge. Firstly, he constructs a parallel line to CD through the point A. From this new line, he cuts off a segment with length equal to AB. A parallelogram is then formed, with one side AC and a second side intersecting with the line CD. This point of intersection E is such that CE = AB.
